The Studio
Concrete Architects is a Tel Aviv–based architecture studio specializing in the planning, permitting, and design of private residences, boutique residential buildings, and urban renewal projects. The studio has proven experience working within Tel Aviv’s urban fabric, particularly in sensitive and historic neighborhoods such as Neve Tzedek.
The studio was founded in 2015 by architects Gabriel Ben Ezra and Nadia Kalikova, following several years of professional experience in leading architectural practices in Israel and abroad. Its work focuses on projects that combine precise architectural planning with a deep understanding of permitting processes, regulatory frameworks, and urban context.
Concrete Architects operates as a licensed architectural practice authorized to submit building permit applications, providing comprehensive support throughout the planning and permitting process - from initial concept development, through coordination with local planning authorities and professional consultants, to obtaining a building permit and preparation toward execution. The studio has extensive experience with complex projects, including new construction, building additions, preservation projects, and development on challenging urban sites.
The studio’s primary area of activity is Tel Aviv, Herzliya, and the central region of Israel, with a particular focus on private residential projects and boutique-scale residential buildings characterized by human-scale design, clear architectural language, urban sensitivity, and attention to detail - both in planning and in regulatory coordination.
From the initial idea to its realization, the studio offers its clients personal, professional, and responsive guidance, tailored to the specific nature of each project, its schedule, and its budget - with a commitment to high-quality, practical, and enduring architecture.
